We only collect information that you provide directly when you subscribe to the newsletter:

• Email address — required to send you the weekly newsletter
• Name (optional) — used to personalise the greeting in emails

We do not collect passwords, payment details, or any other personal information. We do not use tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or third-party advertising scripts.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your email address is used solely to:

• Send you the weekly EndpointWeekly newsletter (every Friday)
• Send occasional announcements about new tools, scripts, or major site updates — no more than once per month

We will never use your email for any other purpose.

4. How We Store Your Data

Subscriber email addresses are stored securely in our newsletter system. We do not store subscriber data in publicly accessible locations. Access to the subscriber list is restricted to the site administrator.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

We use the following services to operate the newsletter. These services may process your email address as part of delivering the newsletter:

The EndpointWeekly website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which sections are most popular. GA4 collects anonymised usage data. We have configured GA4 to:

• Anonymise IP addresses
• Not share data with Google for advertising purposes

You can opt out of Google Analytics by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We do not use any other cookies or tracking technologies on this site beyond what is strictly necessary for the site to function.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Unsubscribe at any time — every newsletter email contains an unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you from the list immediately.
• Request your data — email us to find out what information we hold about you
• Request deletion — email us to have your data permanently deleted
• Correct your data — email us to update your name or email address

8. Data Retention

We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your email address is removed from our active subscriber list. We do not keep archived copies of removed subscribers.

9. Children's Privacy

EndpointWeekly is intended for IT professionals and is not directed at anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced in the newsletter. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
